Spontaneously dined at this restaurant around 2 weeks ago. Kin Sushi left a great first impression with me. The service was great, with the food being delicious and filling. Would definitely come here again next time I'm in the area! Edit: Grammar and spelling Edit 2: Went here again on Father's Day this year with my family, and just wanted to point out how big the servings were, especially for their katsu. I didn't realize it the first time around. It's definitely worth the value. I love the side salad they provide with the meal. Most places don't include avocado in their side salad, and I love the way it tastes. Edit 3: Forgot to mention the staff are exceptional and hospitable! Shout out to the amazing staff!
First time trying this restaurant and we enjoyed it! We were super hungry so ordered enough for 3 people for the 2 of us. The price to portion ratio was great (and they do 10% off for cash)! We got a chirashi bowl each, 2 rolls (Tarantula with soft shell crab and Over the Rainbow), and shrimp tempura. At the end, they gave us some red bean sesame balls. All of the food was delicious and the fish were of good quality, no dry, stringy textures. The service experience was also appreciated, the server was attentive and made sure to fill our waters and cleared empty dishes as we ate. Would come back!
Brought my daughter today we ordered 2 bento boxes everything so fresh! Delish Came here walked in off the street for we were hungry lol and our server Cho was amazing. This restaurant was able to accommodate my mango allergy no problem. We ordered 2 rolls that we shared ‘ Tekka Poke and Sunflower” They were huge ! Fresh seafood full of flavour Everything came out fast considering how busy this little place was. A hidden gem most definitely!
Really enjoyed our meal here. We ordered the platter for 2, portions were generous, sashimi was fresh and it was really good. Service was exceptional. The ladies were busy all evening but still made sure all customers were taken cared off.
I ordered delivery and the sushi exceeded my expectations! As a former Vancouver girl I usually find it difficult to find great sushi in Toronto, but Kin Sushi nailed it. The portions are generous, and the sushi is fresh and of high quality. The rolls are as delicious as they look in the photos. They even gave us a complimentary roll to try! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be ordering from here again.
One of the best sushi spots in North York! You can tell that they serve fresh and quality sushi. The rolls here are also massive and very filling. They have an extensive list of creative rolls so if you're a big fan of rolls like me you gotta eat here! I can't wait to go back to try their other rolls. The servers are also all very friendly and attentive. Great place to come with friends or family for all occasions!
We love eating at Kin Sushi whenever my family craves for Japanese and a place close to home. It's a short walk from where we live but even if you are further it's a very accessible location with plenty of parking. Food is good and service is good. Great place to go. Gets busy quick so if you know you're coming here I suggest giving them a call to see if you can make a reservation. Otherwise I have never had a problem as walk in customers for a family of four. I recommend this restaurant. Aside from the presentation of the food which was pleasing to my eyes, it is rare to find a restaurant in Toronto that serves such fresh raw seafood. If you are a frequent sushi restaurant goer like myself, try assorted sashimi and you will know what I mean.
